This is the first few pages and a cover for an un-used story originally intended to used as issue one of the series.

Artwork by J.C. Grande, this story ran for 72 pages, and was going to be split up as two 22 page issues and a third 28 page story.

The pacing didn't quite work for me, and I felt that, after some discussions, starting the book at a time when the main chunk of the story wouldn't be taking place wasn't the right thing to do.

I love the work J.C. produced here, especially pages 13 and 14, but the script was heavily edited and cut down to a single issue to appear much later in the series.
